This AMARONE is elegant, with a lot of character. Deep red in colour, verging on garnet. Gives impressions of dried sour black cherries, chocolate and ripe fruit.
A structured, powerful, complex red, but at the same time well balanced and with velvety tannins.
Perfect with intensely flavoured dishes, such as grilled meats and dark chocolate.
Corno Marani in the township of Tregnago. Clay-based soil rich in mineral salts. Hillside position with sun exposure from east to west.

Vine Training System
Guyot, with 4800 plants per hectare (vines 15 yrs old).
Manual, followed by slow drying of the grapes for 5 months.
Pressing, removal of stalks from dried grapes, controlled-temperature fermentation.
In oak casks for 18 months, then stored in steel vats until bottling.
Alc. by vol.
18-20°C. Uncork at least 2-3 hours before serving.
Store in a cool place away from direct light, preferably with the bottle lying on its side.
